Happy September.
Here in New Zealand, September heralds Spring. Some like the longer days. I don’t mind them once the summer gardening bug hits – lettuce and tomatoes on tap, about the only things I can grow, really. Last year I managed one cucumber from several cucumber plants. Not to worry!
Last month, August, was a pretty good month, really. It turned out to be quite productive in patches, with quite a few words written. I was pretty happy about that. I got back into my fitness regime after a two week bout with a virus, fitness being walking which in Auckland, a volcanic plateau, means plenty of hills. I must be getting fit, since I have kept this four day a week walking thing up since I began it last December. (It doesnt feel like it, though!)
I read some good books which I’ll blog about in due course.
Plans for September? To continue with my writing, and hope some of my favourite teams make it the NRL grand final, ie the rugby league competition in Australia.
Onward and upward!
