I am a thousand percent hooked on this
book, The Crown Conspiracy by Connie Mann (a new-to-me author.)
It’s a thriller set in the art world in
Europe, with several story strands, revolving round a recently discovered portrait
that was thought to have gone missing, a portrait of the beloved Princess
Johanna.
I won’t go more into the story, because I’m
kind of a bit confused (doesn’t take much to be honest) but there is a Robyn
Hood art thief-slash-forger, who forges artwork so she can steal artworks that
have been stolen and replace them with the forgery, vanishing friends, hidden treasure,
murders and car chases, etc etc etc. I am really gripped by this story and am just
enjoying diving into it when there is a spare moment.
